Philippine travelers visiting Vietnam for business or tourism for more than 21 days are required to obtain a visa. However, no visa is needed for stays of 21 days or less.The easiest and quickest way to get a visa for Vietnam is through the eVisa system. Applicants can conveniently submit their forms and supporting documents online, and once approved, the eVisa confirmation is sent electronically.
Travelers holding an eVisa can enter Vietnam through 13 airports, 16 land border crossings, and 13 seaports.
A valid visa is mandatory to board your flight. Travelers will be denied boarding if their visa has expired or if the visa details do not match their passport information.
Travelers arriving in Phu Quoc (PQC) are exempt from visa requirements for stays up to 30 days, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Travelers must arrive and depart directly from Phu Quoc by air or sea.
- Travelers must hold proof of onward travel to a destination outside Vietnam within 30 days of arrival.
- Travelers must not be subject to any entry restrictions for Vietnam.
Most applications are approved within 6 business days. However, processing times cannot be guaranteed by government authorities, so we recommend submitting your application as early as possible. Your Vietnamese eVisa will be sent to you immediately upon approval, and we will promptly notify you if any issues arise.
You can stay in Vietnam for a maximum of 90 days. If you intend to stay longer, please contact the Vietname Immigration Department for details on extending your visa.
